Simplex activities are supported by an average team of 20-25 professionals, along with a network of established consultants in various areas of expertise. The complexity of the projects we undertake ensures that our multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, facade designers, and technical specialists is highly qualified, with experience in executing some of the most challenging projects in the construction market.
The Milan office team is composed of Italian and international professionals who support the various departments, allowing them to best adapt to the standards and methodologies for national and international clients, thanks to their experience gained over the years.

KEY PEOPLES

SEBASTIANO GRANETTO
With over 20 years of experience in designing a wide range of projects, he is highly skilled in managing teams and consultants involved in complex projects both in Italy and abroad, such as skyscrapers, shopping centers, offices, hotels, residential buildings, and schools. He introduced BIM (Building Information Modelling) technologies for parametric and computational design at Simplex, leading our specialized department at the forefront of the BIM market, working on Simplex projects and providing top-tier services to major architectural firms worldwide. He has strong expertise in Project Management, gained from managing challenging international projects. He has worked on iconic Simplex projects in Asia like SkyCity, D’Residence, Boulevard 360, and Baiyun University.

FEDERICO ROMANO
He is an Engineer specialized in Building and Plant Systems. As the BIM MEP Manager, he leads the team in drafting highly complex executive projects, both Italian and international, of multifunctional and hospital type in both Architectural and MEP fields through the use of BIM. He collaborates with Simplex in project development and as a coordinator of operational activities.

GIULIO MOLINARI
At Simplex, he serves as the BIM MEP Coordinator. He has developed his MEP system engineering knowledge and skills by collaborating on the BIM implementation of projects, ranging from the definition of project standards to providing assistance in construction design and site management. He has worked on highly complex projects, both Italian and international, across various construction types and uses.

EMANUELE BANFI
In over 15 years, he has accumulated experience contributing to project development from schematic design to construction design using the BIM methodology in complex international projects both in Italy and abroad. He contributed to the opening of Simplex’s Milan office by introducing and defining the company’s BIM standards. At Simplex, he consolidated his experience in team management, developing skills throughout the construction process to the construction site phase for Italian and international clients. His accumulated experience allows him to adapt the team’s dynamics and methodologies according to the client’s needs. He manages and coordinates operational activities across various disciplines, ensuring high-quality standards during the BIM implementation process.

VALENTINA LA TORRE
She holds the role of BIM Manager and Business Development Assistant at Simplex’s Milan office. She is an Architect specialized in technological and environmental design. Her experience ranges from preliminary design to construction , she is an expert in team and project management, applying work methods based on international standards acquired through experience on complex international projects in Italy and abroad.

BARBARA GOLTERMANN
With over 20 years of experience, Barbara Goltermann began her career in Italy, designing luxury fashion showrooms and collaborating with renowned architecture and interior firms. She specialized in high-end villas for VIP clients in Kazakhstan, London, and California, focusing on design concepts, space planning, FF&E, lighting, and custom furniture. Over 10 years ago, she moved to Malaysia, working with Sebastiano Granetto before founding her own studio. She has designed award-winning high-end condominiums and residential projects, creating immersive environments that harmonize with architecture and landscaping, ensuring quality execution within budget through strategic collaboration and oversight.

FRANCESCA ATTOLINI
With over 30 years of experience in architecture, interior design, product design, and exhibition design, she has participated in national and international competitions before focusing primarily on design and interior projects, developing works in the hospitality industry and
planning beach resort structures both in Italy (Forte dei Marmi) and abroad. In particular, she has focused on the selection and use of materials for coverings, ranging from wood to metals, stones, paints, and fabrics. Over the years, her experience has expanded to include the integration of spatial design with customer service elements, collaborating with international art galleries to foster a dialogue between architecture and art, in a continuous exchange between container and content.
